Have the vehicle running when refilling the radiator, or top off radiator after engine warms up, and thermostat opens (temperature gauge will drop).
Some engines have a cooling system bleeder you can crack open and fill the radiator until coolant comes out of the bleeder. The bleeder is generally located at the highest point of the cooling system on the engine.

Fill with water, run and drain 2 more times, then refill with coolant and water at 50/50 mix. They do make power flush kits that eliminate the added steps.

To flush a radiator on an Acura RL you will need to make sure the care is level. Remove the radiator cap from the radiator under the hood. Place a bucket under the radiator and remove the radiator plug. This is a white plug located on the bottom of the radiator which may be hidden by the splash guards at the front of the vehicle. After the radiator fluid has been drained replace the white radiator plug. Refill the radiator with coolant and replace the radiator cap.

To replace the radiator in a Chevy Celebrity: 1. Drain the coolant into a suitable container. 2. Raise the car and support on jack stands as required for your purposes. Most of this can be done from the top. If you do raise the car put chocks at the rear tires. 3. Loosen and remove the radiator hoses, radiator overflow hose. Remove the transmission cooling lines. Unplug wiring if any. 4. Disconnect the coolant fan motor. Remove the 4 screws and work the fan housing out. 5. Remove the torque strut (dog bone) mount from the radiator support bracket. Move it out of the way. 6. Remove the radiator retainer bracket. 7. At this point the radiator should slide up and out. There are two rubber mounts at the radiator pans on the bottom and top of the radiator. Save them for reuse on the replacement radiator. Installing the replacement radiator is the reverse procedure. When the radiator is in place and the hoses are back on refill the radiator with coolant and check for leaks. Make sure there is not an air bubble in the block that could cause heating problems. When you are certain there are no leaks start the engine and check for water flow within the radiator. Refill with coolant as necessary. Check for fluid leaks from the transmission cooling lines, repair as needed.

Obviously re-attach bottom hose first, then refill, then run for a while with the heater on, and check levels, worked for me, been Ok since.
