You will need a rod though...I was annoyed because I needed one straightaway because i wanted to evolve it to Poliwhirl so I could trade and get the Jynx from that old man in one of the houses in Cerulean city... >:P but I had to wait ages to find a rod. I need to know if there are any other ways you can get a Poliwag!!
