RTS stands for Real Time Strategy

This basically mean a stategy, in real time. This is opposed to TBS, a turn-based strategy. In which you take turns instead of it constantly happening.

What you do in an RTS game is control units. You click on them and send them to other locations. You upgrade, you train more units, and build buildings.

Some Examples of RTS games are: Age of Empires, Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds, and Total Annialation.
