Neither the DSi nor the DSi XL have a tracking device or GPS built in.
I believe you have to connect it under device settings under the settings menu. As headsets are connected this way, if its wireless or not. If its wired, the USB port will generally pickup the device and automatically bring up the register device menu. Please note: YOU WILL NEED AN ORIGINAL PS3 CONTROLLER TO DO THIS PROCESS
A PS3 will charge any device that can charge from a USB port. This includes, but is not limited to: PSP, Ipod, and many cell phones.
It should sinc if you push the PS button, but if not you can plug the controller into the playstation with the charger and then try againIf the controller is being connected for the for the first time and is not an official Sony ps3 controller and it is a ps3 compatible controller, connect the controller with a USB cable to the ps3, then under settings> device settings> register new device. This is how it works for Wired and Wireless headsets for the ps3 too. This sectional guide answer was modified by TechnoFixunder 'Modified for a wider understanding'.
You do not hook up the Xbox 360 with the PS3 they must be connected individually. They can be connected to a switching device and that connected to different TVs if it is complex enough of a switching device to allow the switching at both input and output.
