The period is normally once every 28 days or so (on average), so you can easily have a period on the first of the month and then on the 29th, for example. That would be twice in a month. What you need to check is how much time elapses between periods. It should also be noted that 28 days is just an average; the time between two periods can be more or less than 28 days. In any case, if you have a period this means that you are most likely NOT pregnant.
