This actually happened to me with both my children. Although my breasts were generally sore throughout my pregnancy, the degree of pain varied. They were bad in beginning, better in the middle, and worse at the end. It was to the point where wearing a bra was extremely uncomfortable.

Is it normal if you were on Nordette birth control pills which made you extremely sick so you switched to Ortho-tricyclen and now you are having extremely sore breasts?
I'm not very familiar with this contraceptive pill but I would do a pregnancy test to be on the safe side. Also read the side effects leaflet and see if sore breasts is a side effect. If it isnt, see your doctor incase your in the early stages of pregnancy.
