its a 7 year old girl.... guys its not how much calories, it's what is she eating, teach her to eat the healthy stuff with lots of green veggies, carrots. fruit servings every day and try to avoid sodas and switch it low sugar and low fat ice creams these types of things will get her in a habit of healthy eating. avoid the sugar substitutes they are not good for kids but alternatives like Frozen Yogurt or fruit smoothies are better and applesauce is is a great substitute for recipes. best suggestion is to get a diabetic cook book they have healthy and tasty recipes.
