Yes. If it is taken care of properly it can heal up to two times faster... I have both my nose and monroe done as well as other piercings.

Well you just have to stay on top of cleaning the piercing even with a cold. Taking the jewellery out will do nothing but loose the piercing for you. Put the jewellery back in clean the piercing and leave it alone. The cold will go away and the piercing will heal.

it's easier to heal a nose piercing with a nose screw rather than a cbr. less of a chance it'll get hooked on something or knocked around. and a nose piercing doesn't take that much cleaning. I have mine done and if you leave it alone it should be fine.
