A nose piercing hurts more when piercing it than after it is done. The pain generally lasts a few seconds and if done by a professional it hurts less because they use quality needles.

As ar as I 've experienced, an ear piercing hurts more than any other piercing. I am plannig to have a conch piercing and just read at site rightpiercing dot com that it hurts too much if I plan to have an inner and outer conch at the same time. Emily

Going by the nose pierce, on a scale of 1 to 10 the lips will also hurt you to about 8.5.

just got my nose re-pierced yesterday, and i've had my cartilage done for about a year now. For me, the pain level is about the same. The piercing itself didn't actually hurt much at all for either, its just sore for a while after you get it done. I think my cartilage was worse, but not by that much. I don't think either piercing is that painful, but they do really look good. I just have a regular one hole cartilage piercing, but I hope I could help a little. :)
