How to increase the friendship of a Pokemon in Pokemon Black is very similar to do in other versions. These are all the choices that you can choose from.
1. Put the Pokemon in your party and walk around. (The really easy way)
2. Level it up (Just battling will not increase your friendship. You have to level it up)
3. Let it hold a Soothe Bell (Holding a Soothe Bell while walking or leveling will multiply that by two)
4. Give it Proteins and Vitamins
5. Give it friendship increasing berries (Not the best way to do it though)
6. Go to the Message Lady in Castelia City and give that Pokemon a daily message.
Now these are things that can decrease Friendship.
1. Letting the Pokemon Faint
2. Giving your Pokemon EnergyPower, Heal Powder, Energy Root, or a Revival Herb.
3. Trading (Trading will reset all friendship to its base friendship)
The friendship number for Pokemon to evolve is about 220. Although the Pokemon game will not give you the exact number. So go down to the Pokemon Fan Club in Icirrus City and have your Pokemon checked by the woman inside the building.
