Definetly Barry Gordy, who was head of PR for Motown when the Jackson Five was discovered. Quincy Jones, who Michael worked with from the 80s onward-- Quincy helped a lot with the 'Thriller' album. Probably Smokey Robinson and Stevie Wonder as well, they were big acts signed to Motown. Liz Taylor and Diana Ross were muses of his, and very close friends. Joe Jackson, Michael's father, as brutal as he was, is definetly responsible for instilling such good work habits into his wonderful son. Rest in peace, MJ.
