Jack feels like he is his better then everyone. He feels like he is all that because he caught a pig. Ralph feels like a leader which he is. He is strict but he wants to be saved. Ralph also feels sad because he is waiting for his dad to come save him. Ralph also feels hated; he knows that Jack doesn't like him so he watches his back.
Ralph- reasonable, tries to be mature, tries to always think things through, wants peace, kind, he rules through fairness and kindness. Jack- has no sensetivity at all, savage (turns into a killer), always wants to be a leader, evil, he was more of a dictator than a leader, he ruled through power fear and violence.

The two boys who left Ralph's group to join Jack's group in "Lord of the Flies" are Sam and Eric, also known as Samneric. They were lured by the promise of hunting and adventure in Jack's group, which appealed to their primal instincts and need for excitement.
In The Lord of the Flies Ralph's only weapon is a stick that has been turned in to a spear. He took the stick that was being used to mount the pigs head.
