Why does Katniss give her mother an intense lecture?
The reason that Katniss gave her mother a lecture is because, whenever their dad died their mother paid no attention to them and was alive but dead. She never got out of bed and other things like that. Katniss is leaving and may not come back so she gives her mother a lecture saying that SHE HAS to be there for Prim. Prim had Katniss originally but she is leaving and if her mom does that again she may run away or die.
