Legalizing Marijuana Opinions:
  • Very possible, some states allow it for medical purposes. The process may take quite a while, but there it is likely that marijuana will be legalized eventually, as the laws become more and more relaxed.
  • No, because pot is so easily grown that the government won't be able to make money from it.
  • Yes, the evidence is overwhelming that the marijuana laws were absolute lunacy from the very beginning. The public is slowly waking up to the long-term fraud.
  • Very likely, I live in Alaska and our state laws say you can have a certain amount in your home if you're 21 or older, of course the Federal Laws all over rule it. But if federal laws change then less people go to jail, the government could control it, keep it away from minors, and tax the production and sales of it. People need to sign more online petitions to get it going, it's the easiest way
  • I believe that it should be because marijuana is less harmful than alcohol. I think that there should be a set age limit though like there is for alcohol. Kids are still going to smoke though just like they drink underage.
  • In many countries marijuana is legal and openly available in legal establishments, or at defined amounts for personal consumptions, or for medical purposes. So the answer to the question is yes marijuana will be legalized as it already is legal. As for the answer in the (unknown) jurisdiction that originated the questions, this will depend on local politics.

Possibly for medical reasons, but I doubt it will be legal just for the 'fun' of it.
