Could be dirty, could be the ammunition, could be a worn part. You will need to take it to a gunsmith to find out for sure.

It's probably the ammo. I put a box of 35+ year old ammo through mine and 80% of them jammed and that's being generous. I bought some new ammo and it hasn't jammed since.
