I bought a 510 2 weeks ago for $100 that had not been well cared for. The rear sight elevator is missing and the bolt handle is loose. Stock finish is weathered, bluing is worn, and there is some pitting. The bore is in reasonably good shape. Function is good. The 510 I bought last year was in similar condition and cost about the same. Both were bought in eastern MA. Most That I've seen shot accurately or very accurately.
value of Remington targetmaster model 41 cal 22rifle
No. You can buy replacement triggers that have a lighter pull. They are only about ten dollars.
No but you can by the barrel code, check the Remington Society of America page: http://remingtonsociety.com/rsa/questions/barrelcodes
Try checking with the list of suppliers on the Remington Society of America Service/Parts page here: http://remingtonsociety.com/rsa/service
Depending on condition, around $150.
A Remongton 510 .22 cal single shot rifle can be worth from $100-$1200 depending on the care and condition of the rifle. These rifles were manufactured between 1939-1962, and they are becoming very rare and harder to find.
The Targetmaster is the Model 510, it may have 1922 patent dates on it but it was made from 1939-1962 and they made over a 1/2 million of them in five variations.
Would like to know the value of a Remington 510 SB. The gun is in 98% condition Thank you John
