What does it mean to have a boyfriend?

everyone sees it differently i suppose. i see it as a guy who says i luv u alot and gives u a hug or kiss or watever and holds ur hand or puts his arm around ur waist. Even saying sweet things like heres 1 example. Say u tell ur boyfriend ur falling for him if he says something like "dont worry ill be there to catch u" then he probably really cares ands a good boyfriend.

I think that is means finding someone who thinks you are perfect because he sees right through your imperfections. He loves you when you have no makeup, he holds you hand in front of his friends, takes you on dates, DOESN'T buy you things, never does anything you hate, protects you through whatever you find scary, and is constantly telling you I love you and nice stuff like what the person above me mentioned. You have to find someone who cares, actually, not someone whose in it for the sex or the popularity. You've got to find someone who will always be there to catch you when you fall. But that's just what it is to me - it's different for you probably. It's different from different people's perspective.
