How early does the hunger pains start in pregnancy?

Hunger pangs during pregnancy can vary significantly among individuals, but many women report experiencing increased appetite and hunger as early as the first trimester. Hormonal changes, particularly the rise in progesterone, can affect metabolism and lead to heightened hunger. However, some may not notice significant changes until later in pregnancy, as the growing fetus begins to require more nutrients. Overall, it's a highly individual experience.
