If you want to be quick (desprate) about it, you can go unheathly and take up an eating disorder, like throwing up after eating or just stop eating entirely and go from there, you burn about 2,000 calories a day so you'd burn more than a pound every two days. But that's like SUPER unheathly.
Go down to a raw vegan diet and water, it sounds kind of harsh, but it works really well, then fidn out what body type yu have, athletic, curvy, etc. then find excersizes for that body type and throw in cardio. Cardio can be like, anything really. Stair climbing, swimming, dancing, running, rock climbing, whatever gets your heart pumping, just do it and along with the excersizes as much as you can. Some people can excersize for insane hours, I've heard people go up to 8 a day, just check out Kendra W. Look for a high protein shake, pill, beans (weird right?), just stay away from meat for a while, but still consume alot of protein to support the excersize you'll be doing.
It's hard excerisizing hard enough to kill 20 pounds, but ease into it and you'll find it almost addicting, the rush you get afterwords. P.s. if you go tanning, it's going to make you look 5 pounds lighter, just saying, probably why tan girls are said to be hot.
