My nose hurt worse then my tongue. However, the first week of having your tongue pierced sucks!
Actually you can move the Barbell (not a ring) up and down once the piercing is done, however playing with the jewelelry in a fresh tongue piercing will irritate the piercing and promote swelling.
i wouldn't clean a tongue piercing with peroxide. when you first get your tongue pierced you're suppose to clean it with antiseptic mouth wash and you are suppose to drink liquids for a whole week when you first get it pierced.
Why do you have a tongue piercing? No it probably won't rip, and if you rip it out of your tongue yes of course you take it out. . . . . .. . . . . . . . . . . ,.-'". . . . . . . . . .``~., . . . . . . . .. . . . . .,.-". . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . ."-., . . . . .. . . . . . ..,/. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . No, you need to speak to the Gods of Metal first.
Well I for one wouldn't be using lemon on any oral piercing let alone a tongue piercing, acetic acid or citric acid will irritate the piercing if it's new. Think about reviewing your written aftercare instructions your professional body piercer provided for you.
nothing silly goosee. you'll be fine. it might sting when its first pierced but after a while you will be perfectly fine : )
For most people it does although at first it takes time as the swelling goes down.
Rinse with salt water and DILUTED mouth wash (non alcohol is best)
Yes it is very possible to die from a oral piercing. The piercing is near blood vessels and a major nerve that is vital to eating, talking, and the ability to also taste. But the lack of proper care could lead to a brain infection. Which if gottent will not take long to kill you and once you start to notice the symptoms of a brain infection it's likely that it is too late to do anything about it. The major symptom is a constant headache from brain swelling it will at first fell like a regular headache that won't go away. im not sure, but it is possible to talk in a weird way. The piercing can hit a nerve causing slow movements in the tongue and it will sound like you're holding your tongue and talking. It may become infected if you don't take care of it
Some swell badly and other swell mildly but all tongue piercings swell to some extent, it's the tongues normal reaction to trauma and helps set the healing process in motion. That is why we tell clients to keep popsicles and freezes on hand as much as possible during the first few days post piercing. Just helps the piercing heal a bit better.
