Which Pokemon is better nidoking or rhydon?

I think that rhydon is better because fire is it's only weakness (and even then you must be 20 levels above him to beat him). Nidoking is pretty easy to beat.

The thing is Rhydon has a pretty good attack. According to Pokemon db its attack is 130 but its special attack and special defence is qually very poor.

Nidoking is average(doesn't have any outstanding or terrible all round stats. However, it is not the best special attacker or attacker and since it's a poison and ground type I think its weak to ice and water attacks and poison attack are ineffective against rock and ground type

If you realy want a Pokemon with a high attack pick Rhydon. However, if you do, be aware that its pretty weak to water and ice attack and I belive its also weak to fighting. And its pretty slow so I'd try and increase it speed but that will cost lots of money of course. But it will inflict quite a bit of damage.
