If you are looking for the dramen tree you are most likeley doing the lost city, anyway the dramen tree can only be reached by going to port sarim with no weapons or armour as the monks of entrana won't let you. there is a level 132 dramen tree spirit guarding the tree so you will have to be prepared. amulets are acceptable and robes are also allowed. it is reccomended to mage the spirit ( not effected by crumble undead and no staff allowed) as it is very weak to it and runes are also allowed. use the best fire spell you can use.
If you have reached that part during the "Lost City"quest, you are meant to "Kill" a tree spirit then killing it will allow you to cut down a branch from the dramen tree.
