There are 3. You get all 3 by talking to fishermen. You get the old rod by talking to one in the gatehouse to Canalave. The good rod will be the next one you get, by talking to fisherman on the way to Solaceon from Hearthome City. You get the Super rod by finishing the Sinnoh pokedex and talking to the fisherman by the gatehouse on the way to Survival Area. The super rod will be the best rod you get and can catch reasonably rare Pokemon.
