Well.... on Pokemon Platinum Larvitar is a swarm Pokemon,that means u need to visit Dawn's sister @ Sandgem town and if she tells u about route 206 u can go catch Larvitar.If u don't wanna wait all u can do is open ur ds go to settings change time to 23:59 tgen w8 1 minute so it goes 00:00 so its like day changed and she tells ya about other swarm.( Make sure that you save if it is not the swarm you mentioned, or els she will keep telling you about the same one over and over again.) Note:Some time she may repeat the same Pokemon or a Pokemon that she already told u but u're gonna need a bit of patience,hope this one helped ya..
