If Raigeki Break targets a Spell or a Trap card, Curse of Royal can be chained to it to negate it.
Raigeki is forbidden in Advanced Format and restricted to 1 in Traditional.
To easily defeat Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon, use cards that don't target a specific monster on the field (Dark Hole, Mirror Force, Raigeki, etc.), since that monster's effect states that it can't be defeated by card effects that target this specific card.
Forbidden/Limited Card List - March 2009 too bad you cant know your answer . :D Ignore the previous answer. It's total bull crap. Raigeki was banned because 1 single spell card is enough to wipe out the entire monster card on your opponent's field which is overpowered.
Yes, "Mystical Space Typhoon" can not negate "Sakuresu Armor" and the rest of the cards mentioned. That is because there is a difference between negating and destroying. "Destroy" means to destroy a card and send it to the Graveyard. "Negate" means to prevent the card's effect from resolving. This is the best way to explain it: Since (most) Normal and Quick Spells, and Normal and Counter Traps don't have continuous effects, their effects still resolve. If a card's effect is considered continuous or requires it to stay on the field (such as Continuous, Equip and Field Spells, and Continuous Traps), when destroyed it's effect can no longer be active.
If Raigeki Break targets a Spell or a Trap card, Curse of Royal can be chained to it to negate it.
Raigeki is a forbidden spell card that destroys all opponent face up monsters.
Since dark illusion is a monster card it is destroyed by raigeki without it's effect coming into play.Same as if a face down effect monster were to be destroyed by raigeki the effect of the card could not be used so any face down effect cards or any effect cards on your side of the field are rendered useless.
Yes, there is the normal spell card 'Lightning Vortex'. The only difference between that and Raigeki is that it requires you to discard a card to activate it.
It will 'resolve without effect' because its target has gone.
Use any trap card that destroys a card at the end phase... >.> Example Raigeki break...
Raigeki is forbidden in Advanced Format and restricted to 1 in Traditional.
No, Ancient Gear Engineer does not retain the ability to negate card effects. It only prevents the opponent from ACTIVATING any Spell or Traps during its attack only. If a Trap Card activates outside the attack, it can do nothing against it.For example, if you attack with Ancient Gear Engineer, its effect prevents your opponent from activating any Spell or Trap Cards during the attack. Therefore, if your opponent had a face-down Raigeki Break, he/she cannot activate it.However, if before your Main Phase 1 ends as you are about to enter the Battle Phase, your opponent has a face-down Raigeki Break, he/she can activate it, discard one card, and destroy your Ancient Gear Engineer.
if this is yugioh then use monster effects such as man eater bug and dark hole and raigeki break can take this guy down no problem!
a shiny raigeki in 2006 was worth about $392 I dont know about now it probably has increased a hell of a lot
Probably the Seal of Orichalcos ;) Scratch that, Field cards aren't too good nowadays... As for real cards, Pot of Greed is probably the best. Or raigeki, but it's easy to negate.
What your asking for is how to hack into the card - which is illegal ! We in the Wiki community will not help you break the law !
