Performance Mode for Guitar Hero III is a special mode of gameplay where everything during gameplay is removed, except for the in-game avatars performing the chosen song. This means the rock meter, the score meter, the star power meter, and the note charts are removed. It can be unlocked in the Cheats menu (I don't know the code off my heart, look it up on cheatcc.com).
