An Up-Grade is a special hold item which induces evolution when given to a Porygon. If a Porygon holding an Up-Grade is traded, upon being received by the other trainer, it will evolve into Porygon2. This particular item has no added effects, and will not do anything for any other Pokemon, including Porygon2.
