The following is just off the top of my head:
If you chose Chimchar as a starter you got yourself a good Fighting type after it evolves.
You may also catch a Machop or a Meditite(most common way).
Now, if you're in for a bit of a challenge catch a Ralts, evolve it to Kirlia and then give it a Dawn Stone at level 31(after ir learns Psychic) and you got yourself a Gallade which is Psychic/Fighting. A nice type combination imo
Btw it will also learn Psycho Cut right after it evolves if you do it at lv 31. Hope this helped someone :D
Do you mean "what are Dark-types weak against?" Bug-type and Fighting-type moves will deal double damage to Dark-types.
Fantina is a Ghost type gym leader, meaning normal and fighting types won't have any effect.
Fighting Pokemon are weak against Psychic types and Flying types. Ghost Pokemon are also a good choice against Fighting types since Fighting and Normal type attacks don't effect them.

With your pokemon. (Flying or Psychic are the best types for Fighting pokemons).
Byron uses mainly steel types so any fire, ground, or fighting types will do.
Personally, I would train a Bird-Type Pokemon at a place where those types of Pokemon is very effective to it. Like Fighting-Types. They are weak to Bird-Types. So, I would train it there!
