If you put your Xbox 360 on the carpet and play it for to long you'll get the RED RING OF DEATH!!!!!! I put mine on top of my cabinet.

Ok, but what about if you play it on top of a marble dresser, you had it for 3-4 years, kept it clean, and played it for 1-3 hours every once in a while, then what could be the cause?
