You could try to get in contact with 'The Pokemon Compony' and suggest a game like Diamond and Pearl to be able to travle to different reigons. Can you trade Pokemon Diamond Pearl to Pokemon HeartGold SoulSilver?
No, you can't trade Pokemon between DS games and GBA games but at the very end of Pokemon pearl or Diamond you can visit Pal Park and transfer them into the Pearl or Diamond. Unless you are talking about the new HeartGold and SoulSilver that is coming up, then yes you can trade but you need to have another DS.
