Salamence is not a Pokemon that can be caught you must get a bagon evolve it at lvl.30 or at 35 depending if you caught it at lvl 20 or 25. This will cause it to become a shelgon. raise it well to lvl 50 or 55. that will make it become a salamence.
note: bagon can be caught were you find the TM Dragon claw. in the meteorite cave stay where you got the TM at don't go no where else!!!
