every where. multiplayer Anywhere there is a television and an online connection, you can play cod online.
Yes, you can.
Play multiplayer matches and after the match is over you will see that you have gained cod points.
I would say yes if you are watching while their playing. Call of Duty 4 is where the language and game content starts to become a little bit to mature for younger players. If the player constantly wants to play the game, you are in complete control and you probably should cut down their playing hours. Campaign mode in COD 4 and beyond start to become inappropriate. If it`s just LIVE play their interested in, any COD would be okay. I strongly recommend COD 2, 3, and COD World at War. These COD's are most appropriate until they get older. I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY OFFENSIVE CONTENT IN THE GAME, I AM JUST GIVING A SUGGESTION AND WILL NOT BE BLAMED.
four people
many have been without any problems and many also have played the later games in the series that are mature rated

No the rating system is correct. It does not mean that 12 year old can not play the game with the permission and maybe adult online account

You should get the COD: Advanced Warfare for the game system that you prefer to play on. The PS4 is getting better reviews that the Xbox 360 and the Xbox One.
No guest can be allowed to join in xbox live, but if you to want to play splitscreen that is possilble by going to Multiplayer: then Splitscreen ~ Koolface
Yes This game is Probably one of the weirdest rated games In fact I did a survey at my work and 34/36 agreed this game is not bad at all.some of even bought there children the game and sat with them for 1 hour and a 1/2 and Heard one swear word which was "hell". also after the time On of my friends told me this happened. The kid asked "see there wasn't that much blood in it... The mother replied confused "there was blood?" So my point is definetly, a 13 year old boy/girl should be allowed to play COD black ops
yes
