The Kimono Girls are 'hidden' throughout the game, and you find them all just by trying to beat all the gym leaders. Finding them shouldn't be a problem. Facing them, on the other hand, is. After defeating Clair and getting the masterball, you're to fight all five of them. In a row!

But, they are strong. I used this chance to boost, as in, fail on purpose to gain more money/exp. Used to do it all the time with the Elite four. Anyways;

NOTES: It's not required that you actually have a level 40 Venusaur or a level 35 Graveler, but those are what I've found to be terribly successful. I also have an Ampharos level 35, but any electric type of that level will do. The point it that you have Earthquake, sleep powder, and leech seed. Leech Seed can be learned by a chikorita that has hatched from an egg. I'm not sure about the starter...

You'll also want an amulet coin equipped to your first Pokemon. At least 10 each of Fresh Water Soda Pop and Lemonade. These things are god-sends.

SAVE. Your rival will come out of the dance theatre, but no worries, he won't fight you. I still wonder how he even beat Clair in the first place....

The first Kimono Girl Zuki will send out and Umbreon. These guys are not fun. Graveler has an amulet coin, switch ASAP to Venusaur. Use sleep powder/leech seed until both work. Sleep powder doesn't last very long the first time, that's ok. We're gonna take Umbreon very sowly. Let leech seed do it's thing. KEEP UMBREON ASLEEP. Fix Venusaur's hp as needed.

The Second Kimono Girl is Naoko. She has and Espeon. If it is at all possible, Espeon is worse than Umbreon, but that's okay. Your graveler has the amulet coin, but switch it to Ampharos. Feed Ampharos HP healers like none other. It's the only one that can stand more than one hit. Do this for at least 10 Psychic attacks - that's all the PP the Espeon has. Again, take this one slow.

The Third Kimono Girl has a Flareon - but it's a lot less menacing then you might think. Graveler uses EarthQuake and it's a one-hit KO. Graveler might take some damage, that's ok.

The Fourth Kimono Girl has a Jolteon. Since the Jolteon can't really hurt Graveler, you can heal him up. If the plan is to boost the kimono girls, don't bother healing - it's a waste of money. Again, EarthQuake is a one-hit KO.

The fifth Kimono Girl is Vamporeon. Your Ampharos can handle this pup no problem - but that's not the point. The point is to boost, so don't attack it. It'll use surf and aurora beam to take out your Pokemon, and that's ok.

When all your Pokemon faint, heal them up, buy more HP helpers (Lemonade and Soda Pop were fabulous) then do it again.

SAVE. Everytime

You should get a couple of levels out of this; and about 30,000 money. EACH TIME! Pretty sweet...

Also, putting a different Pokemon in front can't hurt too terribly much if you want to just do some leveling. Example, put a level 10 anything in front. If it lives, it will gain at least two levels per battle.

Also, as you run back and forth from the dance theatre to the department store, check your pokegear, you might be near a legendary dog. I have a strategy on that, too, but maybe another time.

When you're ready, go ahead and beat the 5th Kimono girl, then follow their instructions to get the bird that fits your game, silver or gold. I try not to use masterballs, but i think that might be the only way (aside from using your new-found fortune on ultra balls).
