unfortunatly yes after a year. but the good thing is if you get a new webkinz you can renew them. my brother's webkinz account expired about 2 years ago but just last week we bought him a new webkinz and the account was renewed. webkinz will wait and save you account forever until you renew it. so it's not like when it expires the account is erased forever. -Espeon-princess P.S- my webkinz account is angelcakes77 so if any of you wanna add me then here it is. they wont expire anymore go to webkinzinsider for the info

if your account expired there is no way in getting it back.you might be able to adopt your webkinz again by using your secret code,but other than that your account is done.I wish i could save your account but i can't your going to have to buy a new webkinz.

if u adopt another pet. all u need to do is type in ur user name and password and it will say ur account has expired and so u press adopt another webkinz. then log it in and u will have another year to play on webkinz!The above answer used to be correct, however Ganz has decided to take away expiration dates and let everyone with expired accounts play again!!

you still can play but you need to make a another one. it expired because you play it for 1 year

There's no set amount of time. You get get a Webkinz eStore account as soon as making a regular account for Webkinz. Just go to their website and make an account there. It will be linked with your playing account, so any points or items you buy, will be on your playing account.

Webkinz accounts do not expire. Also, you can get a code from a gift store such as Hallmark. Webkinz are often found in Toy stores as well. If you are unable to find a store that offers them, you can buy them on the Ganz Estore.

You have to do it on the Ganz eStore website, not in your Webkinz account. You can enter it under your account for any Webkinz account - you just have to know the user name. Took us a long time to figure that out! :)
