unfortunatly yes after a year. but the good thing is if you get a new webkinz you can renew them. my brother's webkinz account expired about 2 years ago but just last week we bought him a new webkinz and the account was renewed. webkinz will wait and save you account forever until you renew it. so it's not like when it expires the account is erased forever.
