PS3 is way better than a Xbox and many people feel it is better than a Xbox 360
The amount of money you can get for an original Sony PlayStation can vary based on its condition as well as demand in the current market. A brand new PlayStation sealed in box can fetch as much as $1,000 at auction. A brand new PSone with LCD screen combo can get somewhere in the neighborhood of $400 in box. The later PlayStation with DualShock controller typically sells for $200-$300 at auction sealed in box. A functioning PlayStation out of box and in working condition can sell for anywhere from $20 to $80, depending on its condition, any included accessories, and variant. This is discounting special editions (eg the Net Yaroze, which can sell for $800 or more used).
Historically, because the hardware and ease of developing for, the xbox 360 has always been the the ideal system for cross platform games. notable inclusions are Bayonetta, the orange box, and eternal sonata. In fact the Orange Box is virtually unplayable on the Ps3. I would only purchase multi-console games on the 360 simply because most games are built from the ground up for the 360 then ported to the Ps3, and since most developers still have issues understanding the cell processor, the games generally look alot worse. hope this helps:)

a ported box will hit the lows better than a sealed box. and they will hit harder.. but a ported box will be louder.
When referring to subwoofer enclosures, ported and vented are the same thing, as opposed to a sealed box. Sealed boxes are said to provide a harder "hit" and better sound quality but may not sound as loud as a ported box. Neither type of box is particularly "better" than the other, so the choice is between SQ (sound quality) of a sealed box vs. the louder but slightly poorer sound of a ported box. Hope this helps!
I have 2 kicker comps n a sealed box and they slam
a ported box is better i have tried a sealed as well as ported and the ported dilivers far more power
Yes, but not as vast as you can tune a ported box. But yes it it possible.
I wouldn't recommend a ported box for this sub as the qts is higher than .6, i would use 1.6-2 cu.ft sealed and stuffed with poly-fil, or go infinite baffle. The only reason why the manufacturer says it can be used and sealed and ported is because of marketing, a ported enclosure would most likely over bloat the low end and cause a frequency hump down low
Depends on the speaker manufacturer and the type of box, but... Sealed box- .75 cubic ft. ported box- 1.5 cubic ft.
Off base uses a ported box to displace air and fluctuate the cone on a sub speaker whereas on bass is a sealed box that uses compression in the airtight enclosure to fluctuate the cone.
I for one have always aimed for Sony and Pioneer, either regarding amps or mids, subwoofers and 6x9s. I recently installed a Sony frontloader, pair of Sony mids, pair of Sony 6x9s and a Sony Sub. The Sub I ran off a Monoblock 2 channel class D amp, and the mids with 6x9s off a 4 channel sony amp. To my surprise the sound sounded thumbs down! all speakers adding to 2600watts. Disconnecting the Sub and all was 50% better, the problem, Ported or none Ported, (Sealed) enclosure was the main issue. Tired of struggling, I had bought a single sub ported box, a sealed none ported box and a huge double chromed ported box. All being a dissapointment. Enough was enough, I purchased 2 x Dixon Subs in a chromed large ported enclosure and I tell you, goodbye to all my problems and hello to sound quality. I have massive power with clear clarity while having dampered clear smooth Bass. These Speakers and Sub boxes are fine tuned with performance. Dixons, Thumbs up.........will recomend to anyone and they are very cost efficient. Thanks Dixon
yes and no. it depends on the size of the speaker and where the speaker will be located to perform. For instance, if a 15" speaker is placed in a trunk with very little space, a smaller box would be ideal not only because of trunk space, but the sound will have more space to travel, rather than it reverberate quickly back to its starting point. But a pro of a bigger subwoofer enclosure is that the more box you have, the more it can be ported. With a bigger ported box, the subwoofer can perform closer to its RMS.
Dynamat Dynamat Dynamat make sure u use a true 4ga for power 12ga for speaker make sure box sealed up tight and at least 3/4in thick wood and ported to kicker specs a must a sub only as good as the box its put in also u can take a can of undercoating and coat the inside of your box also a stiffening cap or extra battery never hurts either, a amp works on current the more it gets the loader its gonna be
Holes or helium can reduce the weight of a container, if you are going down the helium route, you better make sure it is sealed.
