in the trash
When referring to subwoofer enclosures, ported and vented are the same thing, as opposed to a sealed box. Sealed boxes are said to provide a harder "hit" and better sound quality but may not sound as loud as a ported box. Neither type of box is particularly "better" than the other, so the choice is between SQ (sound quality) of a sealed box vs. the louder but slightly poorer sound of a ported box. Hope this helps!
You should really get a custom made box for it. Actually ever subwoofer should be housed in a custom made box. This way you can tune the frequency. The lower the frequency the lower the bass. Ask any Car audio shop near you, they will build one for you for cheap!
hi this nick nope it tried i wasted the box..
Which is the best sony wireless subwoofer?
When building a custom box to hold you subwoofer, size and air space recommended is different from subwoofer to subwoofer. Reference an owners manual online or at home to determine the best size to build your box.
The best type of subwoofer for classical music is a sealed enclosure. This will have a tighter, cleaner sound. Try the Rockford Fosgate Prime R1L-1X10 Sealed enclosure.
To often mount a subwoofer you will need your desired subwoofer box of choice. Once you have decided what type of box you want, then you will need to take your subwoofer and insert it into the subwoofer hole. Then you screw it down. Once this is done you take your wires and run it into the subwoofer. An amplifier is not necessarily needed, but you'll definitely want one. You will then take your amplifier and connect it to your cars battery, and then also ground it to your car.
That is usually the whole point of a Subwoofer, hearing the music clearer and feeling it. If you don't like the thump, then a subwoofer is not for you! The best way to fix this problem is first you have to remove all the wires from the subwoofer. Than take the subwoofer out of the box and set the subwoofer in a trash can. On trash day wheel subwoofer to end of driveway. Problem solved!
a transverse multi-sided enclosurer (sealed or with a hole)
A subwoofer box is just a wooden box used to hold the subwoofer speaker. The recommended wood is birch plywood that is 3/4 inch thick. Birch is a sturdy and dense wood. MDF fiberboard is becoming a more popular choice. It can withstand extreme temperature ranges better than wood.
It depends on what your looking for a ported box gives off more bass but a sealed box is a clearer sound
