Goku does not turn super saiyan 6 or 5 in fact. and it only goes up to super saiyan 3 in the manga and super saiyan 4 in the cartoon.
You don't actually see him "directly." Basically he disappears at the end and the episode ends with his "great great? grandson..." who looks just like him being trained by Pan (who is now his grandmother). She tells him about how Goku was the greatest fighter in the universe. There's a scene where Goku, in his grown up form talks to the young Goku (the great great grandson). Then disappears again. So yeah he grows up to his normal size, but not instantly by the power of the dragonballs or anything. He just grows up normally again.
Goku can only transform up to ssj4 which is super sayian because that was his last transformation at the end of DBZ and DBZ GT.
Ah, Goku and Cell, what a fascinating matchup! Both powerful beings with unique strengths. Remember, it's not always about who wins or loses, but the journey and growth each character experiences through their battles. Just like painting, it's about the process and the beauty found within it.
He doesn't because Namek was going to blow up. Goku went in a Ginyu Force member's ship and put in random coordinates. He woke up on a random planet called Yardrat. It is theorized that Goku was learning the Instant Transmission technique when he was haled to return. Since Goku is stronger than the eternal dragon he was able to refuse returning.
