No, if it leaves the field, it is unable to Set itself during the end phase. It must survive whatever battle it is involved in, and remain on the field.

When attacking a higher attack monster with an elemental hero with skyscraper does the attacking elemental hero monster get destroyed too since it gains the attack during the damage step only?

The Damage Step is where it is determined which monster is destroyed by battle, and which player takes damage. So while Skyscraper's bonus 'only' counts during the Damage Step, that's exactly the right place to ensure the attacking E-HERO destroys a stronger attack target and survives battle. There's no concept of 'monster damage' in Yu-Gi-Oh, there is no penalty or consequence for losing the boost after Damage Calculation against a monster that was originally stronger. The damage step is the only step in which their calculated ATKs and DEFs are relevant, and during that, the E-HERO's ATK was higher.

Does Skyscraper effect activate if your Elemental Hero Monster is being attacked by a higher attacker monster?

SkyscraperField Spell/SPELLWhen a monster that includes "Elemental Hero" in its card name attacks, if its ATK is lower than the ATK of the attack target, increase the ATK of the attacking monster by 1000 points during damage calculation only. No, its effect does not activate. "When a monster...attacks...". This automatically tells you that it activates when your monster attacks, but does not activate if your monster is attacked.

Can a monster be destroyed by battle when it's effect says that it cant be destroyed by a monster with 1900 attack and it is face down?

The monster (Obnoxious Celtic Guard) will flip face-up at the beginning of the Damage Step, meaning that its protective continuous effect will be active during Damage Calculation. It will therefore still be safe from monsters of 1900ATK or more, just the same as if it was attacked while face-up.

In Yugioh does a monster have to attack the newly Special Summoned monster during the Battle Phase if they already declared the attack?

Answer taken from the Official English Rulebook: After you've announced your attacking monster and the attack target monster during a Battle Step, the attack target might be removed from the field, or a new monster may be played onto the opponent's side of the field before the Damage Step, due to a card's effect. This causes a "Replay." When this occurs, you can choose to attack with the same monster again, or choose to attack with a different monster, or choose not to attack at all. Note that if you attack with a different monster, the first monster is still considered to have declared an attack, and it cannot attack again this turn.

What happens when a monster attacks and Call of the Haunted is activated?

What will now happen is called a "replay". Answer taken from YGO! TCG Website: A replay is triggered when an attack has been declared, and then during the attack a potential attack target on the opponent's side of the field appears or disappears. A replay can also occur because the attack target is no longer a legal target during the attack. A replay causes the attack to "rewind" to the time when the attacking player chooses their attack target. The attacking player can choose to keep attacking with the monster, but choose a new attack target (including the original target, if possible & desired), or to not attack with that monster at all. Note that a replay involves the continuation of the attack or non-continuation of the attack. It does not involve a new attack. If you pay 1000 Life Points to attack with "Dark Elf", and a replay occurs, you do not have to pay again in order to continue the attack. The monster that was attacking when the replay occurred is still considered to have attacked the original target, even if you decide not to continue with attacking that target when the replay happens. It can not attack again after another of your monsters, nor can you manually change its battle position in Main Phase 2. A replay does not rewind to the beginning of the Battle Phase. So attacks by other monsters that turn which have been completed are totally unaffected by a replay.

When Kinetic soldier attacks a warrior-type monster with more attack points is it destroyed?

The effect of "Kinetic Soldier" activates during the Damage Step when attacking a Warrior-type monster. In otherwords, right before you determine if a monster is destroyed and who loses Life Points, "Kinetic Soldier" will gain 2000 ATK. If its ATK is greater at this point, the opponent's monster will be destroyed. But if "Kinetic Soldier"'s ATK is still lower than the opponent's defending monster, "Kinetic Soldier" will be destroyed.

For the effect of x-saber galahad if the attacking monster has the lower atk before damage step but has the higher atk after the effect is it still destroyed?

The only time the ATKs matter is during Damage Calculation itself. Galahad's ATK changes before Damage is calculated - the ATK decrease will be applied before the ATKs are compared. So if it decreases his ATK enough so it's lower than the attacking monster, Galahad will be destroyed by battle, the attacker will be ok.

Does the monster get destroyed if the battle damage go to zero?

Yes it will still be destroyed even the battle damage is zero because the effect only involves the damage and not NEGATING the atk.For example your opponents Blue Eyes White Dragon attacks your Darkmagician. During damage calculation you can activate Kuriboh or Waboku. The damage will be zero but Darkmagician would still be destroyed.

Can you use icarus attack on a monster about to be destroyed by battle?

No. According to TCG and OCG rulings, only cards that raise or lower ATK and DEF are allowed to be activated during a battle (Battle Step and Damage Step). A monster is destroyed by battle during the Damage Step. Therefore, Icarus Attack cannot be activated. You can, however, activate Icarus Attack when your opponent DECLARES an attack, Tributing the designated monster when you know it will be destroyed by battle. However, your opponent will be allowed to replay the attack (if you did not designate the attacking monster as a part of Icarus Attack'sresolution). This occurs before the battle actually takes place, meaning that cards like Icarus Attack are eligible for activation.

What does 'destroyed as a result of battle' mean?

" Destroyed as a result of battle" is when a monster is considered destroyed during Damage Calculation, where its ATK or DEF is being compared to the other monster's ATK. It does not mean destruction at any other time during an attack, like through the effect of Mystic Swordsman Lv2, or Newdoria.

When a monster card is removed from play is it still considered destroyed?

The only times a monster is considered 'destroyed' are if the card that removed it from the field says it 'destroyed' it, or if it was destroyed during Damage Calculation with a stronger monster. So Bottomless Trap Hole removes from game, but also destroys. However Dimensional Prison only removes from game, this is not a 'destroy' effect.

Can you discard a god card then monster reborn it?

yeah it can but its no use cause its destroyed during the end of the turn that you monster reborn it on the proper card effect.

If a monster gains attack during the damage step is it still destroyed To be more specific Alien monsters with A-counter abilitys?

The monster's ATK only matters during Damage Calculation itself. If a 'weaker' monster attacks a stronger one, but that weaker monster has an effect that boosts its ATK during Damage Calculation, then the weaker monster will survive if it then had the higher ATK. It doesn't matter that afterwards, its ATK goes back to normal - Damage Calculation is the part of the Damage Step where monsters are considered destroyed by battle, and the weaker monster had a higher ATK for that.

Can you use waboku's effect during your turn to destroy a monster with the same power as yours without losing you monster?

Yes. Your monsters will be unable to be destroyed by battle due to Waboku, so your opponent's monster will die, yours will not.
