I know the db wiki isn't always right, and can be "corrected" by anyone and their mother, but if the timelines are to be accurate, then it says that he was born sometime in the year/age 737 and then say that at the start of Z he was 23, making that current year/age 760. He fought Raditz, died, and was brought back in a year's time, making it 761 and him 24. So for his fight with Frieza, I'm gonna say he was somewhere between 24 and 25 considering the time space between his training on the space ship from Bulma's father to the point he lands on Namek.
