There are currently 38 Steel-type pokemon. :)

Steelix is a good Steel type Pokemon. It is also a Ground type, too.
I think the best steel type Pokemon is probably dialga.
Steel type Pokemon is super effective against: Ground, Fire, Fighting Steel type Pokemon are not effective against: Bug, Flying, Psychic, Ghost, Dark, Steel, Dragon, Grass, Normal, Ice, Rock.
