try to rest your wii or just go to game stop to get it fixed
It would depend on how damaged the cartage is.
put it in the freezer for 30 seconds then wipe it with a soft cloth
the only way to fix a scratch is buy going online to www.gamestop.com and search -disc cleaner;) there are ways....
Nintendo is the cheapest if you call them, or if you still have your warrentee, it's free. You can also go to Gamestop or Video Game Cavern. They'll fix it for more money......trust me. my wii broke and Nintendo was offering a lower price but gamestop paid me $90 and i got a new one. If your Wii Sports game has broken, simply get another. Your memory will stay because the information is not saved on the disc itself, but on the memory card on the Wii.

might be scratched or broken or dusty if broken or scratched it dead.

i highly doubt it and even if they could you would have to pay.
i dont know how to fix it but i the most likely problem is the lazer that reads the discs has broken if so you will have to replace it. there could be dust in the disc drive if so you will have to clean it out if you can. But the worst problems is the motherboard has broken if this happens its best to buy a new wii. The last problem is your wii is out of date so before you try any of the above preform an oline update
