How do you catch the emerald Pokemon in Pokemon emerald?

Just throw pokeballs at wild Pokemon now if your talking about rayquaza get it's hp down to 1 hp give it a status other than poison or burn use ultra ball for a while then use timer if it gets bad and laitos or latias don't use your master ball on them get sudowoodo(sorry if i mispelled) and put him in front then when you run into latios or latias use his move block(you get him at battle frontier you have to water him and be prepared he is lv40)

What is the quickest way to catch latios?

In Pokemon ruby you can catch latios but not latias, in Pokemon sapphire you can catch latias not latios, in emerald you can choose. Use your master balls on them so they wont fly away. You can use other types of balls, eg timer ball, ultra ball, or great ball on the other legendaries.

What Pokeball should you use to catch Latias in HeartGold?

It doesn't matter what Pokeball you use. If you have the Master Ball left over, you could use that to catch Latias. However, Ultra Balls will work the best if you do not have the Master Ball. I'm guessing you don't have a Master Ball since your asking this question, so the best ball to use would be an Ultra Ball. Sometimes it takes more then once to catch a Pokemon, so you just have to be patient and try not to freak out like me when Latias runs away after chasing it for hours. :D

In Sapphire which Pokemon should use the master ball on?

I would recommend that you use on latios or latias w/e which they are because raquaza and kyogre are fairly easy to catch You don't have to use your Master ball on anything. You can use it on Kyogre, but that's the easiest legendary to catch, so I don't recomend it. You could save it for later on, like for Rayquaza. That's MUCH harder to catch! It's at level 70 when you encounter it, but you could still catch it with a normal Pokeball (I did). And then, you could catch Latias with it, which would be the best in my opinion, because unless you have a Pokemon like Wobbufett, with the ability Shadow Tag that doesn't let the opponent escape from battle, then it would be pretty hard to catch. So I say catch Latias with your Master ball.

How can you catch latias before beating the elite four?

You cannot capture Latias before defeating the Elite Four and the Champion. You will need to use the GameShark to do this. If you are playing Pokemon Ruby, then an Eon Ticket is required to capture her on Southern Island.
