Actually there is no such thing as lavender town syndrome there were never any child beta testers (all the beta testers are listed in the credits of the original games), no one ever committed suicide. The original song was a pitch higher and has been said to cause minor headaches but nothing worse. I did a search by date on Google and I searched "lavender town syndrome" telling google to only show links from a certain date and found no credible sources/media on the topic (something as large as children committing suicide would definitely made the press and gotten Gamefreak shut down). Long story short you will be fine no matter what. And besides the version of the song that was said to cause minor headaches is only in the original Japanese red and green games.
Lavender Town Syndrome was a story created to scare people. According to the story, the Lavender Town music had a tone in the original Japanese first edition of Pokemon Red that caused children to go completely mad, either killing themselves or attempting to hurt themselves in some way. This story has spread like wildfire over the web, causing many to try this legend and posting their fictional results online to enhance the story. In truth, the tone is subtle and may just get irritating to listen to at best. It may give you or your parents a headache, but that's only because of the repetitiveness of the song and it's screechy tone. the answer above is correct. I am 11 and i used to play pokemon red when i was 10. I got a headache for about 2 days after i heard the syndrome. Creppy but i still sometimes here the tune in my head when in complete silence.
No, Lavender Town Syndrome is not real. It is just an urban legend. The legend goes that the pitch of the original Lavender Town theme song causes headaches, mental disturbance, and suicide in children. This is a sample of the urban legend: Lavender Town Syndrome (LTS) is in fact an actual psychological effect caused layered tones within the Lavender Town theme of the first version of Red and Green that was released in Japan. The theme was dithered slightly for the American release. The multi-tonal sounds from the Lavender Town theme, is actually two layered MIDI sequence tracks. One for the left and the right ear. The tones in the song alternate through sub-sonic, sonic, and super-sonic frequencies. People of different age groups can hear them. Most commonly only those ages 7-12 are affected by the syndrome. It can cause migraine like headaches in children. Which by the way would be difficult for them to handle. Making them stumble, bang their head etc... but because they are children, they kept playing the game. Effectually, it led to 4 deaths in children wearing headphones for an extended period of time (Hours). These deaths were caused by brain swelling, a heart attack, and two pain induced suicides. Quick action by Nintendo Corp. and Game Freak got the product recalled within hours of the news. They dithered the track making it single toned. The problems caused by an unexpected physiological effect have not occurred since. Although it is true that the theme song was changed between the Japanese and American release, it was not because of mental disturbance or headaches, and no one can get sick or die because of hearing music in a Pokemon game.
When you get in Lavender Town, go west and you will find a tunnel. That tunnel leads to the Celadon City. You will only get the silph scope and finish the gym there then go back to Lavender to get the Poke Flute.
The Lavender Town Radio Tower is only accessible in the first floor in Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver. A security guard will tell you that after the takeover of the Goldenrod Radio Tower, they are stepping up security measures to prevent Team Rocket from hijacking their tower in Kanto.
There is no Pokeflute, but your radio. In Kanto, if you drag the cursor to the top of the screen, you hear the tune. You must get the card from Kanto in Lavender to do this though. And it only works in Kanto.
Yes. Totally. Classical music only though. Yah.
Listening to loud pop music can harm and damage our ears. We should prevent listening to some music that can contain bad language. Some of the other disadvantages that it can be annoying when the DJ speaks while the song is performing. It is frustrating that most of people nowadays are listening only to pop music.
no, he only learned music by listening to some one play it first
Not possible... ( Only in some cases )Im kidding, read a book.
In order to hear the music, you must download it.Downloading copyrighted music is illegal. So yes, you could get sued for "just listening to music."

Uh, Instrumental or Easy-Listening.... possibly classical! Check your local music store!! "Instruments" make "music". So, any music genre is possible when playing instrument.

It depends on the individual. Some people find that listening to music, including pop music, helps them concentrate while working. Others may find it distracting. Experiment and see what works best for you.
