Yes you can but you need to go up after you greet the person once and go down again to greet him/her and repeat the process 32 times to get spiritomb

It will be at Level 50. I suggest starting with Quick Balls and then Dusk Balls. If you plan to get Spiritomb's HP down, I will say that Spiritomb has no weaknesses, so it should be easy to get it's HP down. Eventually, if the battle has lasted so long, use Timer Balls. It is level 25 so I would suggest using a strong Pokemon (lv.50) With the move false swipe (TM54).
