Yes. All the Sims games don't require internet, unless you are downloading stuff off 'The Sims 3' website, which you can't do with 'Sims Medieval'. Sims Medieval is NOT an expansion pack to 'The Sims 3' so you can't really play ONLINE / OFFLINE Thanks :)
You cannot play The Sims 3 without downloading it.
The Sims Medieval happened in 2011.
Well you start the kingdom with only a king or queen as a playable character. Then you can go on quests with him/her. Eventually you will get more sims but only on some quests can you play more than 1.
Adventure packs in The Sims Medieval add new things such as quests, creatures and new Sims as well. In short, they are like expansion packs in The Sims 3.

You do quests to complete achievements. Once all achievements are completed, you can play it like normal sims. Every quest, gives you Xp, this can be used to place buildings in the town. However, you can also use Xp to ally with surrounding city's. You CANNOT make whole family's until you complete all the achievements, you can get pregnant sims but you cannot control the child.
No you can not you must have either the Sims 2 or Sims 2 deluxe to play sims pets
