Well, when voldimort tried to kill Harry the spell backfired and nearly killed voldimort, so his soul latched itself to the only living thing near him; Harry. So, of course, Harry became a horcrux, which voldimort never meant to do. That means Harry had part of voldimorts soul in him (of course, until the end of the 7 Harry Potter book)

What is the sixth horcrux in Harry Potter?

Lord Volemorts horcruxes included: - Tom Riddle's Diary - Slytherin's locket - The ring - Helga Hufflepuffs cup - The diadem of Rowena Ravenclaw - Harry Potter - Nagini the snake

What happens if you kill a horcrux?

It depends on how many one wizard or witch has. for example, Lord Voldemort had six and a seventh one he never meant to make which was Harry Potter. to be able to have a horcrux that person will have to murder others which will cause their soul to split. like Lord Voldemort, he split his soul into seven pieces. in the harry potter films, one by one they were destroyed. if a horcrux gets destroyed that witch or wizard will feel pain or die if only spliting their souls once. but Lord Voldemort as known as Tom Marvolo Riddle, was obsessed with not dying even at an early age causing him to create so many.

Why couldn't Lord Voldemort kill Harry Potter?

It's a very complex matter, I'm afraid. When Harry's mother, Lily, died to protect him, she left behind a very old piece of magic. This magic meant that as long as Harry could call Lily's sister, Petunia's, house a home, then Lily's protection would run through his veins and Voldemort would not be able to touch him. When Voldemort took Harry's blood in Goblet of Fire to regenerate himself, he did not know that he was also leaving behind a part of his power inside Harry, too, that made him untouchable. Although we do not discover this until the final book, a part of Voldemort's soul attached itself to Harry on the night that Voldemort killed his parents. This is the true reason that Voldemort was never able to kill Harry - he would have been killing a part of himself.

Why did Harry Potter save Ginny Weasley from the basilisk?

Yes, Harry saves Ginny from the Chamber of Secrets and Tom Riddle in the 2nd book. Tom Riddle is what Voldemort's birth name is, and in this case he is the soul/memory that lives in Tom Riddle's diary. (The reason Ginny is in the Chamber of Secrets is because she poured her thoughts into the diary, which got her dependent on the diary, the part of Tom Riddle in the diary took her over and used her to open the Chamber of Secrets and control the beast of the Chamber of Secrets). He saves her by stabbing the Basilisk fang into the diary (which is also a Horcrux of Voldemort's).

Why did Lord Voldemort want to kill Harry's family?

Voldemort did not enter the Potter's home specifically to kill Lily and James. He was there to kill Harry due to the piece of the prophecy Snape had conveyed to him. However, Voldemort really did not care who he left dead in his wake. James tried to give Lily and Harry a chance of escape, so he was killed without a second thought. Lily stood between Voldemort and the infant Harry. Since Snape requested mercy on Lily's behalf, Voldemort gave her the choice of moving out of his way. When she refused him, he killed her anyway.

What does it mean if Harry Potter is a horcrux?

It meant that Harry would have to be hit by a killing curse to kill that piece of soul. Having a piece of Voldemort's soul inside him was the reason he could speak parseltounge and could read Voldemort's mind. When that was removed from him he could no longer understand or speak parseltounge.

Explain how Harry Potter is one of Voldemort's Horcruxes?

Most dark wizards never make more than one Horcrux...MAYBE two. Voldemort made SIX (seven, including Harry). Murder rips the soul. That's how you make a Horcrux. You murder someone, which rips your soul in two, and you can store one piece in an object, where it will remain alive should your body die. Ripping the soul makes it unstable. Since Voldemort ripped his soul so many times, he made it VERY unstable. And on the night that the killing curse that was meant for Harry rebounded and hit Voldemort instead, a piece of Voldemort's soul flew out and fused or joined itself with Harry's soul. So, since Harry has a piece of Voldemort's soul in him, he is in fact a living Horcrux.

Why is Harry Potter no longer able to use Parseltongue?

When Lord Voldemort hit Harry Potter with the killing curse in the Forbidden Forest it killed the part of Voldemort's soul inside Harry. This meant the connection between the two of them were broken so any powers that Harry only had because of Voldemort's soul were gone. This included the ability to speak Parseltongue, it also meant Harry could no longer access Voldemort's mind.

How can Harry be a horcrux if the prophecy said Neither can live while the other survives Which means that one will have to kill the other?

The prophecy merely meant that only one of them: Harry or Voldemort could survive. Harry was the only one who could kill Voldemort and Voldemort wanted to kill him. So, in short, if there was a duel, only one of them was meant to survive at the end. This was because both their powers were matched. NO NOT TRUE What i believe is that BOTH must die in order for the Voldemort to be killed as "Harry Potter" is in fact the seventh of the horcoxs which we shall find out in the eighth movie!

Is Harry really the final horcrux?

Yes a part of Voldemort's soul was placed in him when Voldemort tried to kill him. Voldemort never meant to do that. Basically when the curse rebounded his soul left his body and attached to the only other living body in the house.

Why did Harry Potter not die when Voldemort came to his house?

Harry is a Horcrux, If Voldemort tries to kill him he only kills part of his own soul, which then makes Harry a Normal but still Famous Person and gives Harry the option to Die or Live on... He Lives on.

Why is Harry Potter able to come back and live in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows?

Harry Potter never came back to life because he never truly died. Harry was in a sort of limbo area where he was given the choice to go back and finish Voldemort or to die. Harry was given this choice because Voldemort accidentally made Harry a Horcrux when he cast the killing curse at him when he was a baby. When Harry gave himself over to Voldemort with he intention of dying Voldemort killed the part of Harry inside of him. When Voldemort took Harry's blood to get his body back he created a rope between life and death. This selfish act, along with being a Horcrux and owning all three Hallows, allowed Harry to return and fight.

Why was ravenclaws diadem chosen as a horkrux?

He tried to get objects from each of the four founders of Hogwarts.Slytherin: Salazar Slytherin's LocketHufflepuff: Helga Hufflepuff's CupRavenclaw: Rowena Ravelclaw's DiademNone from Gryffindor, unless you count Harry Potter, who was not meant by Voldemort to be a horcrux, and isn't technically an object.

How did Harry Potter die?

Harry Potter does not die throughout the whole series. In the last book, The Deathly Hallows, he does get hit by the Avada Kadavra curse and but is resurrected When Harry first got attacked by Lord Voldemort (age 1), Voldemort leaves apart of his soul in Harry without knowing (the seventh Horcrux Voldemort did not intend to make). Therefore when Voldemort does use the killing curse on Harry in the last book Voldemort simply kills the Horcrux inside Harry. Harry then goes to ... an ''alternative heaven'' and talks to Dumbledore who explains all of this. Dumbledore then tells Harry that he can go back to the real world and defeat Voldemort. This means that the Horcrux in Harry is destroyed but he is still alive. Since Voldemort did not think he could come back to defeat him, he had less protection for his last Horcrux, Nagini. Once Neville killed Nagini and all the Horcruxes were destroyed, Harry was able to defeat Voldemort because they were both equal. It was also explained that because Voldemort used Harry's blood to resurrect himself into human form, the protection that lay in Harry from his mother's sacrifice also lay in Voldemort. That's another reason Harry didn't die when Voldemort attacked him. Later, Neville killed the snake, Nagini, and that was officially the last Horcrux that was destroyed, making Voldemort mortal. All movies on TopRater: toprater.com/en/movies/objects/2341361-harry-potter-and-the-chamber-of-secrets-2002
