Yes, Harry saves Ginny from the Chamber of Secrets and Tom Riddle in the 2nd book. Tom Riddle is what Voldemort's birth name is, and in this case he is the soul/memory that lives in Tom Riddle's diary. (The reason Ginny is in the Chamber of Secrets is because she poured her thoughts into the diary, which got her dependent on the diary, the part of Tom Riddle in the diary took her over and used her to open the Chamber of Secrets and control the beast of the Chamber of Secrets).

He saves her by stabbing the Basilisk fang into the diary (which is also a Horcrux of Voldemort's).

There are many reasons why Harry Potter saved Ginny Weasley from the basilisk, in "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets".

She is a friend, his best friend Ron Weasley's sister, and Harry eventually falls in love with her and marries her.

He is a hero. He would have tried to save her even if he did not know her.

He was trying to find and stop whoever was petrifying people at Hogwarts (a first-year student, Justin Finch-Fletchley, Nearly- Headless Nick, Hermione and a Ravenclaw girl). He comes to learn that a basilisk is involved, and is in the chamber of secrets. Before he can do anything, he learns that Ginny Weasley has been taken into the chamber. In the chamber, Harry meets a younger Tom Riddle (a/k/a Lord Voldemort), and learns that Tom has been enchanting Ginny through his journal. Tom summons a basilisk to kill Harry, and Harry is defending himself and kills the basilisk. He then destoys the journal, which destroys Tom, and awakens Ginny. (You learn in later novels that the diary is a Horcrux).

Yes. In the first novel, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, Harry Potter is being cursed by Quirinus Quirrell during a Qudditch match. Had Severus Snape not countered the curse, Harry would have fallen to his death.

Snape promised Dumbledore that he would protect Harry when he was only a baby and while he hated doing it, he did it for Lily (Evans) Potter.

Harry stabbed Tom Riddle's diary with a Basilisk fang, destroying the Horcrux. This meant Riddle was no longer stealing Ginny's life to return to power.
