Edward wanted to kill her at first because she was killing Bella and Edward was worried. I think that's why he wants to kill her (I haven't read the book but I know some info).

well i have read the book and the reason Edward wanted to kill renesmee aka Nessie was because she was weakening Bella everyday and could kill her. she nearly did! But when Edward read Nessie's mind when she was inside Bella he learned that she didnt want to hurt Bella and was trying hard not to hurt her. its just that she was strong and growing fast but Bella wasnt growing fast enough for Renesmee.

∙ 14y agohe doesn't like her at first because "it" is killing Bella from the inside and Bella doesn't want him to change her until the baby is out. So there is nothing he can do. He loves her once everything is okay. He loves that they have a beautiful little family of their own.

∙ 14y agoWhen Renesmee wasnt born yet only Rosalie and Bella loved her but it's unknown if Alice does or not and if she does its not a great love. Carlisle and Edward want to get it out but Rosalie and Bella wont let them. Emmet probably does not want it but does not want to kill her but it is still unknown. Esme is in pain to see Bella this way but probably does not want to kill her. Later in the pregnancy Edward discovers he can hear her and that she loves them and does not want to hurt Bella. After the birht everyone loves her.

∙ 12y agoEdward doesn't really express his feelings on the matter. He's very good at controlling his emotions. But obviously he would feel jealous and aggressive towards Jacob. He merely sympathizes with Bella and explains to her that he understands.

∙ 13y agoInitially she is furious with him over imprinting on her, and the fact that he calls her "Nessie" doesn't make things better (as Bella saw Nessie as being short for the Loch Ness Monster). However through time she begins to accept that it was uncontrollable and that he cannot be blamed for it. She doesn't know if she will accept their change in relationship as Renesmee ages, but only time will tell.
From what is known at the end of the series, she has no issue over their relationship.
