Well, a District 3 boy is seen guarding the camp in the scene where Katniss shoots the apples, but Peeta Mellark is the first tribute from a different district to be allowed into the Career pack. It is later revealed that Peeta never trusted or liked the Career tributes, and clearly only joined the Careers to stay alive.
In the 74th Hunger Games, the female tribute died the first day in the bloodbath at the Cornucopia. The male tribute was placed 10th and died on day 8. He was probably killed by the Careers but could have died of other causes.
